The Opportunity

As a Scaffolder, the main purpose of the role is to erect, dismantle and alter scaffold as part of a scaffolding team.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Select serviceable scaffold tubes, boards and fittings, using them correctly and safely
Select, inspect, assemble and install prefabricated beams into and onto scaffold structures
Erect scaffold safely and correctly
Install spurs and rakers within the correct operating angles. Attach check fittings, droppers and puncheons in the correct positions to scaffolds
Install anchor ties and other specialist fixings to the manufacturer's recommendations
Select, space and install the correct amount of ties to restrain sheeted and unsheeted scaffolds in unexposed areas, to current industry practices
Inspect basic scaffolds prior to handover

The Person
They will have knowledge of Layher/Cuplock/Haki/Plettac system scaffold, as well as an understanding of safe work practices.

Essential:

Part 1/ Part 2 Scaffold training
A minimum of 2 years scaffold experience
Health and safety tested
