Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Procurement Officer to join an organisation in Birmingham.
The Role:
- Support the team in the delivery of the new procurement strategy
- Work across several indirect categories
- Keep up to date with market trends to help contribute to procurement planning and advising stakeholders
- Support with above and below threshold (FTS/OJEU) procurement processes
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, promoting best practice along the way
- Deliver compliant contracts and keep contracts database maintained
The Person:
- Experience in Public Sector procurement
- Knowledge of esourcing platforms
- Knowledge of procurement legislation
