Execution trader and fund operations manager

Per4m Asset Management Limited is a Chelsea based UK regulated Investment Manager managing UCITS V funds and segregated managed accounts on behalf of Institutional and Professional Investors.

Covering mainly European and North American trading hours, theExecution Trader/Operations manager will support our PMs and COO.

Traded securities and instruments include Equities both cash and swap, corporate and government bonds, options and futures on single stocks and Indexes.

Further responsibility is given to enhancethe Investment Managers operations and maintain strong relationships internally and with relevant external third parties.

Daily Reconciliation of trades ensuring a smooth settlement with our Prime Brokers and Luxembourg Manco. Generation of performance updatesand quarterly reports.

THIS ROLE WILL SUIT:

An individual looking to further their career within the regulated asset management space primarily as a fund operations manager (with an assistant) assisting portfolio managers, taking control of the fund and managed accounts trading.

The individual shouldhave a keen interest in fund strategies and operations; stemming from a hedge fund, wealth manager, investment bank or UCITS fund ideally.

This is a great opportunity to gather full exposure to the workings of a mid-sized asset manager.

What we are looking for:

• Familiarity with Bloomberg's trading platform EMSX is essential. Experience of the Guardian OMS/PMS or other similar order management system and Portfolio management system would be beneficial.
• Experience within a fund management company with UCITS funds ideally.

• CFA level

• Experience of trading equities, bonds, ETFs, CFDs/swaps and options.
• Numerically minded with keen attention to detail.
• Confident communicator.
• Genuine interest in financial markets.
• Willingness to work long hours when required.
• Command of the Italian Language and/or other languages is an advantage.

The Role:

• Support group clients and managed accounts on trade execution, including pre and post trade operational aspects, reconciliation of trades and cash management of the AERA Sicav subfunds.
• Provide the Clean Tech Fund ,Event Driven Opportunities fund, Global Asset Strategy Fund, and CIO with dedicated support in the areas of investment analysis, trade execution, pre and post trade compliance, reconciliation of trades and cash management.
• Ensure best execution of client investment transactions, monitor currency hedging.
• Overall responsibility of reconciliation and smooth running of the Guardian OMS/PMS making sure that settlement issues are resolved and cleared with Back Office and Prime Brokers.
• Support the settlement process between our Prime brokers, execution brokers and custodian; answer adhoc trading queries where required.
• Participate actively as a member of the firms Investment Management Team, contributing researched market analysis and investment ideas.
• Liaise with the Compliance Officer and COO on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide data to Per4m Lugano and assist in preparing monthly fund commentary and asset allocation of funds.
• Produce and distribute daily Sicav performance updates from data provided by Manco.
• Produce and distribute quarterly Sicav Investment Manager report from data provided by Manco.
• Liaise with Per4m Lugano regarding all trading and settlement needs.
• Manage Per4m London Research Payment Account (RPA)
