On behalf of our client, a highly reputable civil engineering contractor based in the West of Scotland, we are keen to speak with Quality Advisor's who are looking for their next career opportunity.

The Quality Advisor will join the quality team to assist with reviewing and updating their quality procedures.
It is essential that you have a good eye for detail, follow best practice and can deliver on time.


As a Quality Advisor you will be responsible for:
Working closely with the quality manager to ensure the business maintains it ISO 9001 certification at all times.

  • Review, update and implement new quality procedures.
  • Promote and implement a quality culture.
  • Be responsible identifying areas of improvement within company management processes.
  • Prepare quality audits and produce relevant reports where requires.
  • Update and work closely with the management team
  • Assist the project teams with the development and implementation of project specific quality documentation.
  • Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards
  • Identifying, recording, and resolving nonconformances, coordinating the trades and materials for the resolution of any defects

Applicants must have the following:


  • Proven experience as a quality professional on civils and water projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 900
  • Excellent communication skills due to the level of interaction associated with the role
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience in developing Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans along with management of Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions
  • Excellent written communication and problem solving skills
  • Full UK drivers license
