Description
Do you have the drive to make a difference by living our values every day to help us deliver our new Customer Commitment - It's an exciting time to join us

We're Muir, working with people to maximise their quality of life.

We manage 5,600 homes over a wide geographical area and our customers include families, older people, and those in need of special care and support.

Our customers have told us how important it is for us to listen and act on their feedback, being there to call on when they need help and do what we say we'll do.

We're committed to doing just that - putting our customers at the heart of everything.

We are looking for a flexible, dedicated and highly motivated individual, who would welcome the opportunity to help residents in our Muir Living schemes to live independently for longer.

You will be customer-focused, innovative in your approach and deliver excellent customer service in a challenging environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enthusiastic and caring with experience of working with older people
  • Adaptable and brilliant at working in partnership with our customers, colleagues, external agencies and communities
  • Comfortable to lone work and can show initiative to make decisions
  • Ability to organise successful opportunities for residents to engage with the wider community to reduce social isolation.

If you think you've got most of what we are looking for, but not everything, we'd still love to hear from you.

You'll need to submit a CV and supporting statement telling us about you and why you're right for the job.

Interviews will take place on Monday 14th August 2023 at Muir Group Housing Association, 80 Lightfoot Street, Chester CH2 3AL with Emma Davies, Supported Housing Manager and Jane Warren, Supported Housing Officer.

What's in it for you?
Muir is a fantastic place to develop and progress your career. Our team is great (if we don't mind saying so ourselves).

We work hard, support each other, and also like to have fun Here are some things we think you'll love about working for us:

  • 35 hour working week
  • Flexible / agile working options
  • 25 days annual leave (rising to 28 days after four years) plus Bank Holidays

  • Opportunities for learning, training, and professional development
