NXTGEN are currently supporting a Top 20 firm to recruit a Trust Senior which is a brand new position, which can be based in either their Ipswich or Colchester office.

They are one of the most flexible firms in the area and are a modern firm that offer hybridworking and flexible hours that suits your personal and professional needs.

This firm has a fantastic track record in career progression and development which is supported by some of the most experienced Tax Accountants in their field and specialisms.

Thisrole would ideally suit someone who is working as as Trust Assistant and wants a step up or someone working in an all round Personal tax role that's looking to specialise and wanting a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities;

Manage and prepare all Trust & Estates Accounts work for a portfolio of clients keeping within budget
Prepare all tax returns efficiently
Closely support Senior Managers/ Partners in building key relationships both new and existing
Support junior members of the team with complex Trust & Estates work and queries
Be a key part in supporting Senior staff with improving efficiencies of the Trust team and providing clients with an excellent service

The successful Trust Senior will ideally have a background in Trust & Estates or Personal Tax within an Accountancy practice and either by studying or hold a CTA or equivalent qualification.

You should also have excellent communication skills and be competentworking with a variety of clients and high net worth individuals.

There's is lots of scope for progression and development with the Trust & Estates team as well as the wider firm for the right person.
