We are supporting the Supply Chain team to find a Customer Services Manager for theirstate of the art site in Bedfordshire.

The role:


Reporting to the Supply Chain manager the Customer Service manager will be responsible for the managing the workload of the customer service team who manage and process customer orders and resolve all customer queries.

Working alongside other managers in thebusiness the Customer Services manager will ensure there are good relationships with all of the businesses customers.


Other responsibilities include:


  • Main person for escalation for customers, suppliers and Managers within the business. Also point of contact for Import/Export related matters.
  • Ensuring the team is developed with the knowledge to provide excellent service to all customers.
  • Developing KPI's for the team and reporting on the success against such KPI's
  • Good communication across the business to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and customers are satisfied.
  • Manage and maintain relevant internal systems and processes.
  • At least 2 years working in a similar role
  • Confident working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
  • Be able to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment
  • Desirable if you have experience with export documentation and producing electronic reports
