Computershare are currently looking to recruit a Product Owner to join one of our Global Development squads within Computershare Technology Services.

The role will predominantly be focused on leading our customer identity and onboarding workstream.

This position sits within a cross-functional agile team including testers, developers, business analysts and scrum master.


In this role, you are accountable for maximizing the business value of the product and must build strong relationships with stakeholders, both technical and business, to ensure that the product roadmap supports the business and technical strategy.

Another crucial part of the role will be the responsibility for capturing and prioritizing the backlog to ensure that the correct product features and functionality are delivered and maintained throughout its lifecycle.

This role will have a focus on Customer Identity and Onboarding so experience of implementation of enterprise wide CIAM solutions and customer journey embedded in these solutions would be advantageous.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Creating seamless, enterprise wide CIAM solutions that provide customers with ability to secure their access and data.
  • Implementation of CIAM solution to ensure a seamless, omnichannel customer experience across all your products and services.
  • Collecting first person, authoritative preference information — including consent — across channels to help build a 360degree view of our customers.
  • Migration (and Integration) from legacy platforms
  • Move from legacy to SaaS based AuthN.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and nontechnical audiences to: share knowledge and complex ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback.
  • Ability to clearly translate complex business and technical problems to stakeholders.
  • Familiar with Scrum framework and Agile principles.
  • Engage business and technical stakeholders to define a product roadmap that supports the strategic objectives and the product vision.
  • Use agile practices to stay responsive to business needs and to deliver value incrementally find innovative ways to solve problems and to shape the delivery.

What will you bring to the role?
You will demonstrate significant previous experience as a Product Owner and have a clear passion for the role.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Experience of customer journeys and rollout of CIAM solutions.
  • Legacy migration of users onto new solutions.
  • User lifecycle management automation of provisioning and deprovisioning process.
  • Identity Management central directory for managing user identities.
  • Significant experience liaising with stakeholders understand need, propose solutions, and translate these for other members of the Squad.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.
  • Experience in agile requirements techniques including Personas, Story Mapping, Product Roadmaps and Backlog Management.
  • Experience of Agile software development working in a teamoriented and collaborative environment, encouraging the adoption and continuous improvement of practices.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including international clients.
  • Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, challenges effectively and responds well to challenge from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
