HGV Driver / Weekend LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver


The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Washington, who are a large and well-established haulage company.


Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for several
Nightshift C+E drivers available for ADHOC work - primarily looking to cover
weekend shifts.

Ideal for those looking to increase their weekly wage and optimise driving hours.


The role:

  • A to B trunking
  • Trailer swaps
  • Preloaded vehicles & preplanned routes
  • Strapping the load
  • No handball involved
  • Full, Class CE UK Driving Licence
  • CPC Driver Qualification Card
  • Digi-Card Required
  • 2 year driving experience due to insurances

Hours of work:

  • Primarily to cover weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
  • Shift start time varies pending destination tends to be between 10pm and 2am start

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • Saturday £17.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
