We are FCA regulated and we provide a unique service to a niche market helping consumers obtain credit ensuring its tailored to the needs of the individual.
Following a recent acquisition, we are experiencing a period of growth and require a vibrant hard working individual to assist with the recruitment and development of a new Finance Team.
Department Description:
Reporting directly to the Company Director, the role will involve full preparation and review of financial, budgetary and regulatory reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of all bank accounts, posting invoices to Xero etc
- Reconciliation of all Control Accounts
- Preparation and production of month end Journals
- Preparation and production of monthly Management Accounts for review with Director
- Communicate and liaise with stakeholders with regards to reporting management accounts
- Preparation and production of weekly payroll & associated journals
- Review and payment submission of staff pensions
- Preparation and production budget and forecast models
- Assist and liaise with required audits
- Asset Register review
- Preparation and production of all FCA reporting
- Preparation and production of quarterly CT61 Submissions
- Support Management with HR responsibilities
- Companies House Submissions
- Other ad hoc duties i.e special projects, R&D Claim, Insurance renewal
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Would suit newly qualified / qualified / QBE person with experience of audit, compliance and regulatory reporting. (CIMA/ACCA/AAT)
- Good working knowledge of Xero accounting system, but not essential.
- Experience of the Financial Services Industry.
- Experience in the preparation of accurate and timely reporting of both financial and nonfinancial information.
- Competent and experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel (including lookups, pivot tables etc).
- High degree of attention to detail with the ability to selfreview and error check to ensure accuracy.
- Organised and adaptable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ambitious, hard working and diligent team player.
