Management experience essential.

Bioprocess Scale-up experience essential (200L+)

This is an exciting role to work as a Head of Fermentation for a well-funded start-up in Cambridge/Norwich that is focused on using synthetic biology to create a cleaner environment within the têxtile dying industry.

This role would be spilt across Cambridge and Norwich.

What you'll be doing:

Management of the Fermentation Division across two sites (Cambridge and Norwich) in the UK.
Working closely with the CEO and CSO on finetuning and overseeing key technical processes.
Developing expertise in the Colorifix proprietary fermentation hardware.
Working in a highly multidisciplinary senior leadership team.

What they are looking for:

A minimum of 5 years in medium to largescale fermentation (200L+) in an industrial setting.
Leadership experience including management of teams with more than 10 people.
Familiar with GMP / GLP and ISO9001.
