An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trade Counter Customer Service to join our team at Hathaway Flooring.

We are looking for a highly motivated and confident individual with excellent customer service skills to join the team in our vibrant trade counter in Trafford Park.

Our Trade Counter Customer Service Assistants are pivotal members of our team as they are often the first point of contact for our customers, both in person and over the phone.

Hathaway Flooring are an ambitious and growing wholesaler of flooring and accessories to the trade across the Northwest.

Established in 2008 we have recently moved to a much larger warehouse in Trafford Park with larger trade counter premises because of company expansion.

Your duties will be:

• Greeting customers in the trade counter.
• Handling incoming phone calls and trade counter enquiries.
• Serving customers face to face over the trade counter.
• Processing orders and quotes using company systems.
• Building relationships with customers and providing a high level of customer service.
• Proactive telephone sales with new, former, and existing customers.
• Maintaining computer systems and paperwork, ensuring everything is kept up to date and in order.
• Working with colleagues to undertake monthly stock takes on trade counter products.
• Preparing and replenishing displays with products and promotions.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised trade counter, show room and storage rooms.
• Building a good working relationship with colleagues.

Hours:

• Five day working week, Monday to Friday.
• 37.5 per week between
• Alternate Saturday mornings,

Pay and benefits:
- £24,500 per year.

• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays per year.
