Job description:
Join us as a Senior UX Consultant
- In this key role, you'll lead human centred design (HCD) activities, including creativethinking, insight development and creative design of key projects
- You'll be working on the highest priority projects, including those that are key to the retail strategy
- This fast paced and varied environment provides challenging work that has the potential to change the future of the bank
What you'll do:
As a Senior UX Consultant, you'll support the direction of key projects within the HCD team working across the retail bank and driving the design thinking across numerous new and exciting products and services.
With your expertise, you'll be providing key skills across the double diamond, as well as problem solving and ensuring a consistent high standard of design outputs from initial concepts to confirmed experiences.
Additionally, you'll be:
- Providing and shaping creative concepts and designs on a range of projects
- Developing, owning and keeping up to date with our library of customer insights, working with other areas of HCD and business stakeholders
- Anticipating and responding to changing customer demands and disruptive technologies
- Acting as a design ambassador, promoting HCD and the benefits of human centred design across the business
- Developing tools and processes that encourage human centred design in all our work and throughout the bank
The skills you'll need:
To be successful in this role, you'll be qualified to degree level in design and have expertise and fluency across human centred design methods and disciplines.
Additionally, you'll need:
- A good understanding of innovation processes within large organisations
- Experience in a fast paced, data driven environment
- Creative problemsolving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguity based on customer insight and strategy
