Early Years Practitioner Level Hours a week
We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.

  • Possess suitable qualifications to Level 3 or above
  • Have experience of working with babies and children under 5 yrs
  • Have a working knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted standards
  • Be passionate about Early Years & improving outcomes for children/families
  • Be approachable and enjoy working in a small team or individually
  • Have good communication skills both verbal and written.
Main duties and responsibilities will include

  • To be committed to all Child Protection and Safeguarding protocols
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Ensure the appearance and cleanliness of the room/nursery is maintained
  • Have responsibility for a key group of children with full key person duties
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team delivering high quality care and early years education for all children
  • Work in a proactive manner to provide a wide range of safe, stimulating opportunities to enable children to learn and thrive
  • Build and maintain respectful and professional relationships with parents & families
  • Attend staff meetings and briefings out of working hours.
  • Participate in training where required; keeping updated with current childcare and legislative practices.

Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

School type:

  • Day nursery

COVID-19 considerations:
Hand sanitising available throughout the building, face masks available if required.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Leigh, WN7 4HW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
