We are delighted to be assisting our client, a successful accountancy firm based in Leeds, to hire a new Qualified Accountant to join the team.

The role will be fully remote and both full-time and part-time hours will be considered.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting a variety of clients with a range of requirements including personal tax, VAT returns, tax planning, management accounts, statutory accounts preparation and corporation tax returns
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Dealing with queries, exceeding client expectations
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure all clients are effectively supported
  • Managing your own time and workload to meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining the highest possible standard
  • Supporting all colleagues by being a positive team player.
  • ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • At least 2 years' postqualified Practice experience in supporting clients with their personal tax, VAT returns tax planning, management accounts, statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax returns
  • Experienced in client management, strongly clientfocused with excellent customer service
  • Analytical in approach with a high level of attention to detail
  • A natural problemsolver
  • Adaptable and positive, able to thrive in a small team environment
  • IT confident, ideally experienced in Excel, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent communication skills with a personable and warm communication style
  • Self motivated, comfortable working remotely.
