Laser Setter Operator / CNC Setter


The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced CNC Laser Operator/ Setter on behalf of a manufacturer who are based in North Liverpool.

This is a great opportunity to join an established business who invest in their machinery and people to be able to continue to be a leading company in their sector

The role involves

  • To operate Amada laser machines (experience on other makes of machine will be considered)
  • To ensure correct materials are used and future materials are ready to use
  • Arrange any missing or substandard parts from nest to be recut
  • Record and report time taken for each nest
  • Allocate and identify offcuts created. Use correct offcut from offcut library as required
  • General housekeeping & basic machine maintenance/ cleaning
  • Lionising and dressing of parts
  • Training will be provided on a Counterbalance FLT
The working hours are 7am

  • 4pm, Monday
  • Thursday and 7am
  • 12.15pm Friday.
This is a temporary to permanent role which has an immediate start available following a successful interview.
