    Data Management Consultant – Energy Sector

    Our Data Practice is an established team of 800+ practitioners who help client teams harness the power of data. We enable our clients to become data-driven by transforming their understanding and use of data.

    You'll be joining our Data Strategy & Advisory team as a Data Management Consultant aligned to the Energy domain.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Defining and implementing data management frameworks, including policies, standards, processes, and operating procedures.
    • Eliciting and managing data requirements for large transformations and translating them into practical solutions.
    • Pioneering the adoption of data management practices for key business processes, digital transformations, and analytics & reporting.

    Your Key Deliverables Will Include:

    • Cataloguing business and technical metadata, defining associated taxonomies and domains.
    • Facilitating data governance, including identification, assignment, and training of Data Owners and Data Stewards.
    • Designing, implementing, and embedding data quality monitoring and issue management.
    • Documenting data lineage using automated tooling.
    • Steering the deployment of new data management tooling.
    • Defining client data literacy programmes and designing data management training.

    We're looking for someone with a passion for data and a track-record in driving change to enable clients to achieve their business outcomes.

    About You

    • Proven experience in Data Management and/or Data Analytics.
    • Deep understanding of Data Strategy, Data Management, and Data Analytics principles.
    • Experience working in the energy or utilities sector and an understanding of associated datasets.
    • Extensive experience designing and implementing new data management capabilities.
    • Hands-on experience in industry-standard data management tooling.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work autonomously.
