About the role

As Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the successful commercial outcome of projects, both at tender and delivery stage.

The role will be split into two key workstreams:

Pricing & Cost Analysis - heavily contributing to the understanding of how much it costs to deliver products across our electrical connections portfolio.

You will work with key internal stakeholders to capture realistic costings, operating varied Excel pricingmodels to create pricing and tender submissions

Budget Governance & Control - You will support the successful commercial delivery of projects, by analysing performance mid-term and on completion.

Outputs will be used to support immediate action and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

Creating pricing and tender submissions on a varied range of projects
Developing new Excel pricing models, and continuously improving existing pricing models
Inputting into endtoend views of commercial costing and pricing
Identifying product and channel profit drivers
Developing commercial analysis on existing project portfolios
Supporting new product development, and emerging market exploration, with commercial analysis
Reactively provide analytical support to the wider business functions
Ensure all admin duties are carried out in line with company procedures
Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all times
Any other reasonable ad hoc duties commensurate with the post

Requirements:

5 GCSE's
Degree is desirable.
Experience in analytical investigation.
