A civil engineering contractor recruiting a Site Agent for a £25m highways project in West Sussex.

The business deliver schemes as a principal contractor with a professional main contractor approach in their site set up, quality of work, team structure andthe clients they work for such as National Highways, HS2, the Environment Agency and local authorities.

The Site Agent will join the team working on a new bypass in West Sussex comprising of a 1km road and impressive viaduct, drainage systems, pedestrian and cycle facilities, street lighting before tying the road in at either end to local roads.

Followingcompletion of this project there is a strong order book on the South Coast which will keep you within a commutable distance from home every day.

It is essential you have a minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering, a technical background and experience of delivering highways projects.

Site Agent Duties include:

Write risk assessment, construction plans and method statements
Management of the commercial team with site change control and ensuring all cost, value and change control is captured in line with the contract.
Manage documentation for quality assurance and Health and Safety files
Attend monthly progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
Liaising with clients to ensure work is completed to specification
Manage the direct labour force and specialist subcontractors
Assist with raising early warnings and compensation events
