Full-time, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Job Coaches will manage, develop and support a caseload of customers, providing encouragement, training, brokerage, and co-ordination of activities including development planning, effective monitoring and guidance that will ensure progression to sustained employment.
The Job Coach will build strong, collaborative working relationship with customers, tailoring the support to their needs, motivating, coaching and challenging them to fulfil their potential and enabling them to secure sustainable employment.
What you'll need to do the role
You will need to be able to demonstrate ability and experience of coaching and influencing through previous work and have an empthatic nature with a genuine passion to make a difference to customers.
Experience of working in a performance driven environment is important. The successful applicant must also have knowledge of local job markets and the recruitment sector.Role Requirements:
- To manage a caseload of jobseekers with the key aim being to overcome any barriers to employment.
- To support your caseload of jobseekers with getting them the guidance they may need.
- To develop action plans for your caseload of jobseekers including assisting them write their CV, interview guidance and identifying their key skills.
- To identify local job opportunities and keep up to date with local job market information.
- To monitor your caseload of jobseekers overall progression into employment.
- To carry out any associated paperwork showing attention to detail at all times.
- To build rapport with job centre and referral partners as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information in accordance with the Data Protection Act /GDPR
- Ensuring any safeguarding concerns are reported to the Designated Safeguarding Lead
- General ad hoc administration as and when required by line manager
- Achieing KPI's for Job outcomes
- Maintaining and performing above customer service standards set by the DWP
