Description

As the Sales Operations Lead, you will be an integral part of the continued success and growth at Albert Roger Group thought the effective supervision of the day-to-day operational requirements of the business.


Working closely with the Sales, Operations, Finance & Planning teams to deliver a high level of service and account management with existing retailers to coordinate order processing.

A strong understanding of Logistics and Operations would be an advantage in order to excel in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Effective management support of the sales operations team to coordinate/ monitor orders of our customer accounts across UK and Europe.
  • Develop retail customer relationships, ensuring you have a full understanding of their Logistical requirements and coordinate the team to deliver on these.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, with a clear understanding of our brands and expertise.
  • Maintaining customer data through our systems, sales forecast, and activity reports.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise existing customer footprint and retention.
  • Use our ERP/WMS to properly keep information updated in our systems.
  • Plan workflow effectively based on forecast and demand
  • Coordinate activities and resource planning with our 3PL partners across the UK and Europe.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Assist in arranging transportation where required and within budget.
  • Invoicing and creating required documentation for shipments, accounting, and administrative purposes.
  • Actively participate in the preparing of end of week and monthend Financial and Operational reports for Senior Management
  • Manage the dispute process and allocate resources to investigate and resolve quickly for the customer. Suggest ways to reduce further reoccurrence.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven knowledge of operations within logistics or supply chain.
  • Customer focussed with a proactive and solutionsled approach.
  • Strong commercial awareness covering pricing, stock management and forecasting.
  • Confidence with communicating effectively at multiple levels.
  • Commercially focussed with an understanding of budgets and how to achieve targets.
  • Ability to remain calm while working under pressure, be extremely organized and have a customeroriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Team supervision, development, or management experience.
  • Knowledge of Spanish, French or German would be beneficial.
