EFM has over 16 years' experience in the transport sector as a haulier and distributor, based in Northampton. Founded in 2005 by Managing Director, Phil Minney, EFM are still a family owned and operated business.

Starting with a single tractor unit, the operation has seen amazing growth and we now operate a fleet of over 25 vehicles ranging from our smallest, a 3.5T curtain sider, right up to our largest 44T articulated vehicles.

As one of the highest inputters of pallets nationally to the Palletline network, we run a number of prestigious contracts most notably delivering NHS PPe throughout the Covid 19 pandemic.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Transport Administrator to join our operation from Daventry.

You will be working alongside the transport team responsible for providing on-site operational and administrative support. Responsibilities start with checking-in and checking-out registration of drivers, despatching drivers and completing key documentation.


What will I be responsible for?

  • Manage daytoday driver issues effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive document management support, including tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and printing while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Assisting Transport Manager with compliance process, and filing accordingly
  • Completing a variety of daily administration duties
  • Internal reporting duties
  • Transport System management and order entry

What kind of person are you looking for?
Ideally you will have had experience in a similar role and a knowledge of transport and logistics. Strong organisational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively is essential. There is a strong requirement to be flexible, articulate and able to cope when placed under pressure due to the changing environment
