We are looking for a Specialist HR Advisor to join our HR Employee Relations & Reward team which provides professional, specialist HR advice over a number of expertise areas including Terms & Conditions, Job Evaluation, Organisational Change and TUPE, HR Policies and Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Staff Governance, Recognition and Reward.

The team provides proactive, comprehensive, effective and responsive professional HR advice, guidance and support to Strategic Business Units across the organisation and to Public Health Scotland, as part of a HR shared service.


The Post:


The role will focus on the provision of specialist advisory services on employee relations and engagement and will focus on specialist advice of staff recognition and reward, visa and immigration and industrial relations, as well as undertaking specific projects.

Institute of Personnel and Development and demonstrate knowledge/experience gained in a generalist HR role, including experience in advising on complex case management and HR Workforce Policies.

The postholder will have excellent communication skills and a proven record of building effective working relationships and positively influencing managers and others.


Location and Working Pattern:

Location:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow. Currently hybrid working.
30hrs per week; Monday to Friday - working days can be agreed.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
