The role and attributes -Talk to Natalie at Duval for more details - a genuine winner of a role to start 202- Degree qualified (or similar or time serviced if evidence provided) in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design / Engineering Design or similar.

8+ years' industry experience ideally working in a similar industrial design / development role **within a manufacturing environment

**- Confident knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes including installations of automotive machines

Proficient with using SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design

Robust design experience across the Product Life Cycle (CADMID)

Experienced with DFM, FEA and Moldex
Knowledge of 3D printing and additive manufacture for prototyping
Experienced designing products from concept to production, ideally products used in a public environment
Innovative and passionate about design
Be technically minded with a head for problem solving
Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Being responsible for the small teams of Design Engineers
Design and development of various custom products
Ensuring 3D design solutions and engineering drawings are completed for all New Product Development projects
Using CAD for design on a daytoday basis
Developing ideas from concept to production
Collaborating with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects with the support of Head of Projects
Maintaining technical drawings and documentation
Providing technical guidance and support
Supporting product Testing, Verification & Validation
