Our client, a growing organisation in Thurrock are looking for a
Logistics Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Based within this fast paced environment you will need previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

As Logistics Co-ordinator you will be working full time 10:30am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday.

You will be the first point of contact for both your drivers and customers ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products across the country.

**Responsibilities will include:
- *
  • Being the first point of contact for customers and drivers to answer their queries
  • Preparing transport documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Replanning of customer base loads as the need arises
  • Liaising with other offices in the UK, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements
  • Communicating efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, drivers, and other offices, as required by operational procedures
  • Contacting UK delivery destinations to book in deliveries
  • Ensuring that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
  • General Administration duties, e.g., invoicing, filing, queries, claims
  • POD handling for customers
**Skills and experience required:
- *
  • Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks using your own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise own workload but also be able to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Conversant with Word, Excel and CRM systems
  • Must have analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience within the Fuels Logistics industry would be a distinct advantage
