Our client, a growing organisation in Thurrock are looking for a
Logistics Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Based within this fast paced environment you will need previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
As Logistics Co-ordinator you will be working full time 10:30am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday.You will be the first point of contact for both your drivers and customers ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products across the country.
**Responsibilities will include:- *
- Being the first point of contact for customers and drivers to answer their queries
- Preparing transport documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Replanning of customer base loads as the need arises
- Liaising with other offices in the UK, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements
- Communicating efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, drivers, and other offices, as required by operational procedures
- Contacting UK delivery destinations to book in deliveries
- Ensuring that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
- General Administration duties, e.g., invoicing, filing, queries, claims
- POD handling for customers

- Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks using your own initiative
- Ability to prioritise own workload but also be able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Conversant with Word, Excel and CRM systems
- Must have analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Experience within the Fuels Logistics industry would be a distinct advantage
