Description
As a pastoral LTA, you will contribute to our child-centred approach by providing valuable support and guidance in promoting positive behaviour for learning and fostering a strong school community.
You will work collaboratively with our children, staff, parents, and external agencies to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation of behaviour management strategies and interventions to ensure a positive and respectful learning environment for all students.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of personalised behaviour plans, tailored to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Providing targeted support to students, both in and out of the classroom, to help them overcome behavioural challenges and develop selfregulation skills.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to address specific behavioural concerns and develop effective strategies for managing and improving student behaviour.
- Promoting a strong school community through the organisation and coordination of communitybuilding initiatives, such as assemblies, events, and celebrations.
- Assisting with the monitoring and recording of student behaviour, using appropriate systems and tools, to provide accurate and timely feedback to staff and parents.
