Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Integrated Water Services, based at our offices/depot in Walsall, West Midlands.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager (Workshops) and be entrusted with overseeing a team of mechanical engineers.

What's the role:


  • Ensure the flawless execution of site works and pump refurbishments, consistently meeting project deadlines while adhering to allocated budgets.
  • Engage in meticulous planning to optimize resources and effectively allocate them to meet project objectives.

  • Vigilantly adhere to stringent health and safety protocols and maintain open and effective communication with clients to address their requirements and concerns.

What you'll need:


  • Hold a minimum qualification of City & Guilds Part 3 in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent NVQ Level 3, coupled with a background in completing a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
  • Demonstrate a track record of success in similar supervisory roles within the water or related industries, showcasing competence in resource management, planning, and budget control.
  • Possess strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a team of mechanical engineers towards the achievement of project objectives.
  • Hold a valid driving license.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
