LONDON - HYBRID / MOSTLY REMOTE

An International insurance & finance technology organization is hiring a Python engineer to join their expanding London-based team.

They are seeking a motivated and commercially experienced Python Engineer who is looking for a challenge in a dynamic and supportiveteam atmosphere.

They are very supportive of the hybrid way of work and are keeping up with all the latest technology trends and developments.


THE ROLE:

As a Python engineer, you will have an expansive range of responsibilities, including:

  • Design, development and upkeep of required software using Python
  • Establishing and promoting the use of best practices in the software engineering life cycle
  • Maintaining and developing on AWS
  • Peer Reviews
  • Build infrastructure and take advantage of cuttingedge cloud technology
  • Evolving the backend software and services

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


The successful Python engineer will have:

  • Significant commercial experience as a Python Backend Software / Data Engineer
  • Commercial experience working with AWS
  • Indepth experience of using Cloudbased technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Github, CI/CD and Terraform
  • Big data experience
  • Experience with RDBMS such as NoSQL

THE BENEFITS:

The salary range for this role is £60,000 to £75,000 as well as benefits, a bonus and is hybrid
