The Purpose of the Role:

Here at the Post Office we are creating a new function to support the deployment of a brand new IT system across our UK wide network.


Principal Accountabilities:


As the Head of Retail Deployment, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and execution of the New Business IT (NBIT) deployment across the Post Office retail branches.

Working as part of a newly created team, you will collaborate with key stakeholders within the retail business and coordinate closely with the existing NBIT technology plan, to ensure that the requirements from a retail perspective are considered and catered for.

Keeping a lens on retail and business requirements, you will lead the end-to-end deployment plan from preparation through to rollout plans.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:


To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience of technology rollouts within a large, franchised, retail organisation.

With technology implementation experience across large-scale implementation programmes, you will understand each element of the plan including identification of dependencies to ensure issues are identified and deadlines are met.

Previous project and programme management skills are essential to coordinate and manage multiple rollouts in parallel. The ability to maintain a helicopter view is key.

With strong communication skills, you will demonstrate first-class stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels, particularly across technical and retail.
