The WonderBar & Colonel Porters are recruiting for an experienced Sales & Events Coordinator to come and join our team on a full-time basis.


We have two diverse venues with a lot to offer and events are a big part of the social calendar.

Our aim is to give our customers a memorable experience.


As part of our Sales & Events team you will ensure every part of the special event/bookings go exactly to plan.

You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients and guests receive the highest level of customer service.


The successful Sale & Events Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating bookings and be the main point of contact to ensure bookings run seamlessly.


We are looking for someone to take ownership of coordinating bookings and ensure effective communication with other team members and management.

The successful applicant will be extremely organised with excellent attention to detail, as well as feeling comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must have 2 year's previous experience of working in a similar role, with a sales and events background within the leisure industry.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about building a rapport with customers and exceeding their expectations.


Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working with online booking systems. (preferably Res Dairy and Design My Night)
  • Communicating with the team, clients and customers daily
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Exceptional communication skills with the team & customers; specifically in relation to hosting as well as BOH (back of house) FOH (Front of House) to ensure all bookings/events are executed smoothly and to expected standards
  • Good at thinking on the spot and problem solving

The role is full-time and will involve working around business needs
