Age UK's award-winning Fundraising team are recruiting for a
Direct Marketing Executive within our Acquisition team This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working within a dynamic and fast-paced marketing team.

The key focus for this role is to manage direct marketing campaigns that inspire donations from new supporters.

These campaigns span a variety of channels, which will require you to be effective at budget, project, and stakeholder management to deliver.

Your role, in setting up and managing direct response campaigns, analysing audience response and fundraising performance play a vital role in generating income to support Age UK's vital services.

You'll also help improve our understanding of donor motivations,and your insights will help us to shape how we reach potential supporters and attract them to our cause.


This opportunity would best suit a marketer who has experience acquiring new customers or supporters and driving incremental sales or income.

We're looking for someone who is a creative and passionate team player with a keen eye for detail.

In this roleyou will be able to develop your skills whilst working as part of an ambitious and collaborative team.


This is a hybrid role (a mix of both office and home-based working). The successful applicant will be required to commute to the central London workspace every Thursday.

You will have:


  • Experience in delivering direct marketing campaigns or similar, to enable you to manage campaigns to successfully recruit new donors.
  • The ability to work to and build marketing schedules and project plans.
  • Numerical and analytical skills to enable you to analyse and present campaign results, and inform campaign planning.
  • Experience in or understanding of managing internal and external stakeholders through various processes including sign off.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.
