As the EMEA Head of Creative Direction at MassiveMusic, you will be a key leader responsible for shaping and executing the creative vision across our diverse range of projects.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for music, sound and branding, along with the ability to inspire and lead a team of talented creatives.

You will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering cutting-edge sonic branding solutions for our clients in the EMEA region.

Main Job Duties
Your role would include, but not be limited to the following:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop a compelling and cohesive creative direction vision for the EMEA region, aligning it with overall company brand strategies and business objectives.
  • Provide leadership, line management, mentorship, and performance evaluation to the EMEA Creative Direction team, fostering their professional growth and contributing to a cohesive and highperforming team.
  • You bring your EMEA team together virtually and occasionally in person for teamwork, updates, strategy meetings, inspiration, and learning.

Project Involvement

  • Act as a longterm strategic partner to brands and their agencies, identifying ways music and sound can support each brief and drive brand growth.
  • You will provide project mentorship and guidance to junior team members, offering valuable advice, and conduct reviews of work outputs to maintain high quality and consistency
  • Collaborate on creative briefs and compile creative assets, such as audio mood boards and concepts, while leading sessions to facilitate the creative process.

Industry Presence & Thought Leadership

  • You will liaise with Marketing for PR opportunities, events and other activities to help support your goals of promoting our creativity in EMEA
  • Attend relevant industry events/conferences to promote creativity and be a lead creative spokesperson in the EMEA territory.

Creative Excellence & Innovation

  • Set metrics for measuring creative excellence in terms of awards, pressworthy work, and industry recognition.
  • Oversee the EMEA Creative Direction team's knowledge and resources, effectively structuring local teams and focussing them on their objectives.
  • Continuously improve the creative direction process from pitch to production and onwards to ensure we push creative boundaries and produce awardwinning, impactful work for our clients.
  • You will encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation with the creative direction team, exploring new formats, technologies, and storytelling techniques to push creative boundaries.
  • You will play a key role in approving guidelines to guarantee the quality and consistency of all our project outputs
  • You will debrief of key creative losses and share learning internally
  • Ensure all creative direction communication meets brand guidelines and resonates with audiences.

Team Collaboration & Learning

  • Attend global peer Creative meetings and EMEA Creative team meetings
  • You regularly team up with the APAC and Americas Heads of Creative Direction to bring the Worldwide teams together, promoting a global 'one team' culture.
  • Work closely with the partnerships and account teams to guarantee that our creative strategy effectively contributes to securing wins in significant pitches, as well as maintaining and broadening the range of scope for existing clients.
