Job Purpose
To supervise a team of multi skilled operators to ensure the provision of efficient and effective Contact Management through the monitoring of performance to provide an appropriate response to calls for service
Knowledge & Experience
Capable of:
effective team coordination; coaching & motivating people; promoting teamwork; optimising performance to deliver a quality service
Able to plan & organise to utilise resources, authorise actions and delegate tasks
In-depth working knowledge of Contact Management protocols & procedures and Force policy & procedures - including: major incidents & associated manuals; DPA and OSA
Capacity to deal with simultaneous demanding incidents
Demonstrable wherewithal in decision-making & contemporaneous incident log recording - accessible rationale provision essential
Clear communication skills - both oral & written
Good professional grasp of Force IT systems including: _Storm_; _PNC_; _Niche_; _ELVIS_; _DMS _and; _Microsoft Office_
Experience in dealing with a wide range of policing matters
