£24,102 - £26,000 per annum plus potential monthly bonus


Hours: 45 hours per week

First Fence Ltd has grown rapidly as a company over the last few years, leading to a vast increase in our overall sales statistics since the company's formation.


Our rapid growth means that we currently operate from seven locations namely, our Head Office in Swadlincote in the East Midlands, Tipton in the West Midlands, Bradford, Canvey Island, Bristol, and Glasgow.

We also have ambitious plans for further growth and business expansion.


The Role:


Reporting to the Tipton Depot Manager, the post holder will play a vital role in the growth of the business.


Working in a fast-paced environment as a member of the sales team, the post holder will meet the needs of existing clients and seek opportunities to extend our client base further.

Processing a high volume of inbound sales calls, meet and greet customer at the trade counter, take orders, payments, and process sales.

They will build strong customer relationships and maintain customer accounts which will include making outbound calls. Additionally, they will process orders placed via the company's website.

The role is demanding as well as rewarding and therefore requires flexibility, drive, and initiative.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve and assist customers at our trade counter and provide product solutions and making sure the customer has everything they need
  • Answering the phone and assisting with orders and enquiries
  • Offering reliable product advise
  • Building positive relationships with potential new customers and lasting relationships with present customer base
  • Promoting an up selling the company brand/products
  • Taking inbound sales calls
  • Processing orders
  • Sending out and chasing quotes
  • Support the depot in exceeding sales targets
  • Compliance with strict health and safety regulations
  • Assisting in warehouse when required
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping within the Trade Counter. Standards including cleanliness, tidiness and compliance with health and safety

Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Exce,l and Outlook
  • Able to remain calm in a fast paced, highpressured environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and to contribute to the team's success
  • Selfmotivated, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
