About Our Client:

My client is a leading industrial and commercial water treatment, water hygiene and chemical supplier. They are looking to add an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to their existing team.


  • Mobilise projects, including organisation of travel, accommodation, electronic risk assessment form, arrange site visits, check equipment, liaising with the Project Manager.
  • Conduct Health and Safety risk assessments for onsite work.
  • Operate at all times within the QMS and defined Approved Methods of Work.
  • Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments to UKAS Standards.
  • Act as a representative for the organisation.
  • Produce all reports accurately and to UKAS standard in a timely manner.
  • Produce schematic drawings and final documentation to be presented to the client.
  • Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Develop ideas for improvement on project processes.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with clients.
  • Present completed projects to clients.
  • Attend meetings and liaise with internal departments as and when required to facilitate business and organisational development.
  • Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Undertake any other tasks as requested and deemed consistent with the role.
  • Monitor and report your Gateway 2 Compliance to the SMT.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Minimum 1 year as a Legionella Risk Assessor. With 2/3 years + in the water industry.
  • City & Guilds LRA courses preferable (domestic and cooling water)
  • HTM04 (healthcare premises) training preferable
  • Safety passport/ IOSHH etc preferable
  • Approx. max 1 hour from the office ideally (DN4 Postcode)
  • Commuting to the office to be expected and would need to be flexible travelling and staying away overnight occasionally

What's on Offer:


  • Up to £30k Salary
