Learning Support Assistant


A fantastic Primary School on the outskirts of High Wycombe, boasting an expansive outdoor area and range of extra curricular activities are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start immediately.


The Learning Support Assistant will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students at a Primary School in High Wycombe.

They will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive the best possible educationand support.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with SEN in the classroom, including those with ADHD, autism, and learning difficulties.
  • Helping students to achieve their full potential and reach their goals.
  • Working with teachers to plan and deliver individualised support programs.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Helping students to develop their social and emotional skills.
  • Supporting students in and out of the classroom, including during break times and lunchtimes.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A valid DBS check (we can support checks).
