Based at Barnstaple in North Devon our team is on hand to help you with all your recycling, waste disposal and hazardous waste disposal requirements.

We offer a complete waste disposal solution including skip hire, recycling, hazardous material removal, scrap recycling and waste electrical recycling.

We have an opportunity for an LGV Driver / Operator to drive and operate vehicles and plant efficiently and in accordance our legislative requirements.

Based at our Barnstaple depot, we are looking for a driver who holds a Category C licence and has experience of operating LGV vehicles in a commercial environment.

This role would suit a self-motivated and positive individual who enjoys working as part of a customer focused team.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Collecting skips and Scrap Metals
Use the correct equipment for the job and see that it is maintained correctly.
Ensure the legal requirements are complied with by following the work instructions provided and EMS procedures as indicated by line management.
Prepare Tachograph Disc as required by law and ensure that hours and working arrangements are within legal limits.
Take all necessary precautions for the safety of people, vehicles and plant as per Health and Safety legislation.
Carry out Driver's maintenance correctly, at the correct intervals, and report all vehicle equipment/container faults immediately by the approved system.
