Digital Learning Co-Ordinator (Level 3 Business Admin Apprentice)


As a Digital Learning Co-ordinator apprentice, as well as completing the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, you will be working as part of a small and dynamic team within the People Team.

You will be supporting the Learning and Development Business Partner, playing a crucial role in enhancing our digital initiatives, while gaining valuable skills and experience in a Learning and Development environment.


In this role, you will support the development, implementation and maintenance of our digital learning resources and our learning management platform.

You will work closely with our Learning and Development team to ensure the smooth operation of our online learning programs and contribute to enhancing the overall learning experience for our users.

About the role

This is an apprenticeship opportunity. Alongside this role, you will be completing a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.

This role will provide the right person with a chance to learn an administration skill and develop into a Learning and Development role.


This role will focus on the digital elements of administration for the Learning and Development team, this includes configuring and updating our Learning Management System (The Knowledge Centre) to improve effectiveness of learning and improve the online learning journey for our people.

This role will also take responsibility for updating our online training content with direction from the Learning and Development Business Partner.


With training and support, you will become an expert of our learning platform, becoming a main point of contact and provide training sessions to all staff, increasing confidence and engagement with our digital learning.


You will also support the Learning and Development Business Partner in fulfilling everyday business administration, including minute taking, reporting, and preparing and booking training sessions.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of digital learning content, including videos, interactive modules, and online assessments.
  • Support the administration of learning management systems (LMS) and other digital learning platforms, including user management, content uploads, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Monitor learner engagement and progress, providing timely support and assistance as needed.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies in digital learning to inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives and inform future strategies.
  • Provide administrative support to the learning and development team, including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and coordinating communications.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone that meets the following:

  • Enthusiasm for digital learning and a keen interest in educational technology.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital content creation tools.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) English and Maths.
