Due to continued growth, we are looking for a
Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. based in Corby but with regular site travel.
You will join us on a
full time, permanent basis

Main responsibilities of the Junior Health & Safety Advisor include:

  • Compiling or assisting in the compilation of Construction Phase Plans, Pre-Construction Information, Risk Assessments and Method Statements for our portfolio of clients. Advising clients on changes to working practices to ensure they are safe and comply with legislation. Developing and recommending safety improvement initiatives to clients. Management of investigation into incidents / accidents and maintenance of appropriate records as and when required. Maintaining knowledge of all the Health and Safety Executive legislation and any developments that affect the industry. Carrying out planned and ad-hoc site inspections and formulating reports and recommendations. Ensuring a safe client workplace environment without risk to health. Collating of, and amendment to, the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations. Assisting our clients to meet their statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including recommendation of statutory training.

Our ideal Junior Health & Safety Advisor will have the below skills and experience**:

  • Strong Microsoft Package experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Time Management skills
  • Good Communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also to work as an individual
  • Keen to progress, learn and develop
  • Good timekeeping
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for site visits. All mileage will be reimbursed.

Preferred (not essesntial) qualifications:


  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent degree level qualification
  • TechIOSH or GradIOSH Membership 1 year 'Safety Professional' experience
  • Previous construction Experience
