Supply Planner - Pills & Packaging

Reporting to:
Supply Planning Manager

Summary of Position:


The Supply Planner responsible for ensuring production volumes can be met as a result of good stock availability across THG's Nutrition manufacturing sites.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for availability of raw materials for use in manufacturing sites.
  • To liaise with suppliers to plan delivery schedules in line with our inbound capacity.
  • Regularly report on current and forecasted stock positions highlighting any shortages to the procurement team.
  • Align production and demand planning teams to ensure forecasted and actual usage are within tolerance.
  • Raise purchase orders covering long term contracts in line with demand.

Requirements:


  • Degree qualified in related discipline (Supply chain)
  • Strong numerical and reporting skills applied in Excel, SQL desirable
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain attention to detail
  • Supply chain/commercial background desirable
  • An understanding of ecommerce desirable
