Join our Property Services team as a Area Manager

The team works on the provision and maintenance of our large portfolio of properties. This demands strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers, other teams and external service providers.

The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of
Area Manager.

Salary:
£50,000 - £56,705 per annum plus
Company Vehicle and Fuel Card

Location:
Hybrid (3 days based within our Camden Head Office / 2 days remote)


Hours: 37 hours per week


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the team by example through forward thinking planning, organisation, motivation and where necessary directing to achieve the corporate aims
  • Effectively managing risk by keeping people and properties safe and improving customer satisfaction with our repairs service whilst keeping within budget
  • Managing Data and ensuring data accuracy in your business streams
  • Working in a challenging repairs context, you will need to build, lead and motivate your team to deliver the required outcomes while retaining overall responsibility for your service area.
  • Taking ownership and seeing projects, issues, complaints through to completion and identifying and putting in place service improvements where necessary

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who demonstrates a friendly, positive demeanour.


  • A Building/Surveying related degree or equivalent trade qualification/ experience
  • Experience in people management in front line roles
  • A Full Driving Licence
  • A selfmotivated, assertive, and confident approach
  • Experience of working in a Health and Safety focused environment (IOSH /NEBOSH/SMSTS highly desirable
  • Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills

The offer

Salary:
£50,000 - £56,705 per annum plus
