The Role:


Finance Administrator Part-Time - Permanent - Part-time 27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday - £17,875 per annum - Banbury**Are you looking for a part-time role? Do you have previous administration experience? Do you have great Excel skills?

Working alongside the operations manager, you will be a key part of our team. You will be providing a valuable service to the network rail contract and all its users.

The back-office team are integral to making sure permits are issued on time and penalties are dealt with professionally and efficiently.

You will be providing support to management and producing and interpreting reports using Excel. Sharing data in a readable and usable way is a key part of this role.


What you'll do:


  • Permit management
  • Audit and compliance checks.
  • Reporting and billing of third parties' usage relating to block bookings/ancillary car park sales.
  • PCN processing and management to reduce errors.
  • Reconciliation of reporting to revenue expectations.
  • Work with the development team to devise and implement system enhancements based on process reviews/reporting/ feedback/compliance checks.
  • Chase up outstanding jobs/engineers.
  • Monitor attendance times for KPI's.
  • Input Accident/Incidents onto the online reporting system as per company procedure.
  • Place orders, take deliveries & maintain records to confirm the receipt of goods/services.

Skills and experience:


  • Experience in the preparation and delivery of operational / managerial reports and presentations.
  • Experience of monitoring and reporting SLA performance.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Proven experience in a commercial customer facing environment.
