Full Time Operations Assistant - 35 hours per week Monday to Friday / £26,000-32,000 annual salary / Based in Aldershot, Hampshire.

United Food Brands is a rapidly growing company that proudly supplies numerous food products to retailers nationwide, including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Co-op.

We specialise in buying from European factories with our main focus being on bakery goods, but in the last couple of years we have been expanding in to the chilled and frozen food market.

About the role

• Liaising with various sales account managers in relation to different product projects
• Stock management for the entire business
• Organising transport for orders through Europe and Nationwide
• Dealing with Wholesale customers including receiving orders, ensuring orders are delivered in the relevant timeframe and dealing with queries
• Working closely with Operations Manager on various projects
• Creation of Weekly and Monthly Reports relating to the performance of the business

This job is fast paced, adaptability and ability to multitask is key. There will be times and situations in the company and wider business environment where creativity will be needed.


About you:

This job will be a great for an outgoing, organised individual who has experience with Microsoft systems, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Experience with Sage accounts software would be beneficial.

This business can be fast paced and attention to detail is required, it will suit an individual who is self-motivated and works well as a part of our small team.

Knowledge of stock management and experience in operations/logistics is essential as we are looking for the individual to hit the ground running.
