Are you a recent science graduate looking to gain valuable experience in the education sector? We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team of Cover Supervisors, providing support in schools across South Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to students' learning, develop your skills, and make a positive impact in the classroom.

The role can be offered on a part-time, full-time or ADHOC basis.

Responsibilities:

As a Cover Supervisor, your role will involve:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain on task during the absence of their regular teacher.
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Providing support to students in completing their assigned tasks and answering questions related to the lesson content.
Following school policies and procedures to maintain discipline and ensure the safety and wellbeing of students.
Assisting with administrative tasks, such as taking attendance, distributing and collecting materials, and maintaining classroom orderliness.
Building positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective communication and continuity of learning.
A recent science graduate with a degree in a relevant discipline, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
Some previous experience working with children or young people, whether through volunteering, mentoring, tutoring, or other childbased roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students lives.
