£26,000 - £29,000 per year (pro-rata for part-time), Shifts over Mon - Sun, including BH

Service Users:
EBD, aged 7 to 17, 3-bed
Qualifications Required:
None specific, however, resilience, empathy, and a demonstrated desire to work with vulnerable young people are essential.
Experience:
None specific, but excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English, with an understanding of various UK dialects, are required as service users may be from across the UK.

Their caregiving approach is influenced by the PACE model underpinned by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.Their relationships with children are informed by an attachment and trauma-informed approach, as they believe these approaches best explain human growth and development and their response to adverse circumstances.
Their staff are trained in attachment and trauma-informed approaches, influencing their understanding of the children's behaviours and supporting their engagement with them from initial assessment through to review and evaluation of intervention.
Their commissioned therapeutic partnership with Enabling Hope supports the development of their children and staff teams through direct work and consultations.
Purpose:
Accountability:
Waking Night Staff are directly accountable to the Deputy and Registered Manager.
Principal duties and responsibilities:

Leadership:
- Implement the organization's Policies, Procedures, and Practice regarding safeguarding and child protection.
- Deliver the organisation's Approach to childcare.
- Engage in probation, induction, supervision, staff meetings, learning and development, and appraisal.
- Model professional conduct in all aspects of the role.
- Work in partnership with social workers, education, police, health, probation, and all other professionals in line with children's needs and interests.
Health & Safety:
- Implement the Health & Safety policies.
- Undertake risk assessments as appropriate.
- Ensure that all incidents/accidents are recorded and reported according to procedures.
- Undertake fire drills and tests in accordance with the procedure and record the necessary data.
Other Duties:
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Deputy or Registered Manager commensurate with the post.
