This is an exciting role for a junior brand and communications professional. The role has diverse accountabilities and close engagement with corporate affairs professionals and other teams across the global organisation.

It is expected that accountabilities for this role will flex over time to prioritise different aspects of the role.


This is a critical role in our Corporate Brand & Reputation team, supporting delivery of our ambitious plans to build our brand in support of AZs strategic priorities and delivery of our bold ambition, as well as measure, build and protect our reputation.


  • Play a key role in AZ's brand and reputation projects, including:
  • Maintaining and managing AZ's online brand platform, OnBrand;
  • Maintaining and keeping up to date our visual identity guidelines and visual libraries;
  • Contributing to the delivery of signature brand programmes, including visual, verbal and behavioural;
  • Maintaining and developing our brand assets, including BrandIn, our branded PowerPoint template.
  • Working alone and under direction to coordinate daytoday and flagship brand and reputation projects from brief through to delivery, including managing external agencies and resources.
  • Collaborating crossfunctionally with teams across Corporate Communications and Global Corporate Affairs to support the translation of the brand into compelling content, assets and campaigns to reach our priority audiences.
  • Maintaining and managing corporate communications content/collateral for central use and for use as templates/bestpractice for business unit and countryspecific customisation.

May include items such as:
visual content, digital/traditional brochures, advertising, event materials.

  • Contributing to the establishment of measures of success and implementation of relevant evaluation tools for all activities.
  • Experience gathered either in an inhouse corporate role or agencysetting:
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end brand or creative processes, from taking a brief through to content delivery.
  • High level of technological competence and skills able to manage online content management platforms with strong knowledge of technology options.
  • Exceptional project management skills and good interpersonal skills with ability to manage external resources/agency partners.
  • Strong knowledge of social media and translating technical content into onbrand materials for a broad range of audiences.
  • Strong visual judgement and design oversight skills.
  • Resilience under pressure.
  • Confidence around leaders and global Corporate Affairs colleagues. Comfortable delivering alternative viewpoint.
  • Team worker with high level of personal accountability.
  • Able to develop and maintain networks across business and cultural boundaries.
