Robertson Bell are pleased to be partnering with a fantastic property developer based in Hertfordshire, who are seeking a Finance Business Partnerto join a growing team on a permanent basis.

The key duties of this Finance Business Partner are as follows:

  • Be a key point of contact for Development activity for your allocated area, preparing timely management reporting information, reflecting on performance, and encouraging future growth and viability.
  • Responsible for both the component accounting function and accounting for capital grant funding.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the fixed asset register with accurate journal postings in regard to additions, disposals, deprecation etc.
  • Support weekly and monthly cash flow forecast and reports for the development pipeline.
  • Provide invaluable support in the preparation of key notes and statistics at year end for use in the statutory accounts.
  • Produce regular balance sheet reconciliations and ensure that all capitalised interest and SLA postings are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in relation to development accounting.

  • A Qualified Accountant (CCAB) or active finalist.
  • Experience working in either development experience and or capital accounting.
  • Ideally, a background working in the social housing sector, but this is by no means essential.
  • Experience in putting together various sets of accounts, capable of reacting to different accounting environments and needs.
  • First class communication and interpersonal skills.
