Full time contract

40 Hours per week

Salary-£28,000 to £32,000 per annum depending on experience

Your employer will be Pro Maintenance (South) Ltd, a maintenance company wholly owned by the Directors of DJ Foley Property Consultants, a specialist property management business currently managing over £300 million of property assets.

The properties we manage include many sectors including offices, shops, retail warehouses, industrial units and residential apartments. Our clients include property companies, banks, trusts, private individuals and schools.

We are based on Whiteladies Road in the popular Clifton area of Bristol.

We have a small team of eight people but deal with over 300 suppliers across the South-West, South Wales and the Midlands.

We are looking for a maintenance operative, preferably with previous experience in similar role.

The person will ideally have all-round general maintenance skills, although a qualification in a trade would be useful, but not essential.

Requirements:

Proven handyman experience, basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems. excellent attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills, common sense and ability to resolve problems.

Be able to deal with a comprehensive range of repairs that maybe encountered in any of the properties we manage, including fitting, plumbing and electrical issues, curtains, showers, doors, toilets etc.

Painting and decorating

Basic electrical repairs

Basic carpentry works

Basic plumbing works

Installation and repair of appliances

Changing and maintaining locks

Searching and sourcing repair materials and supplies and ordering new items

Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills

Good verbal and presentation skills

Diligent work ethic

Ability to diligently prepare job sheets and maintain records of invoices etc

You will need to have your own tools although we will assist you with the purchase of new tools when needed

Available to be on call for out of hours emergency call outs
