So what's the job all about?

They also responsible for:

Organisation of the daily activities within Despatch, ensuring safe operation, carrying out quality checks and monitoring, ensuring adherence to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Filling in SHE reports on accidents
Maintaining labour efficiency within the department.
Reducing downtime, Maintaining mínimal downtime and supporting our teams
Dealing with daily absence through levels one and two
Liaising with the Personnel Department on various issued and reporting any relevant incidents
Holding Team leader Personal Development Meetings.
Carrying out discipline, grievance, performance and absence management interviews and effectively managing the team to ensure high moral
Organisation and managing our new starters
Identification of additional training requirements for self and staff and reviewing development methods
Planning for permanent manning requirements and cover for increased production.
