An excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual to support the Partnership in the expansion of its career progression and placement service.
Our Learning and Development team is looking to add a Work Experience & Placement Coordinator to their innovative team, whose focus will be on creating a culture of opportunities and development for our local communities, schools and higher education institutions.
This post will be responsible for facilitating and supporting the delivery of programmes and activities to meet the apprenticeship and support staff learning needs of the Partnership.
- supporting information, advice and guidance
- recruiting and inducting both new to the Partnership apprentices and supporting existing colleagues onto apprenticeship programmes
- supporting the procurement and growth of our apprenticeship offer
- facilitating the promotion of NHS apprenticeships in schools and colleges
- monitoring and reporting on apprenticeship activity
- providing educational advice and support to apprentices and their manager, and escalating issues to the appropriate channels (HR, Occupational Health etc)
- supporting functional skills commissioning and management (signposting to provision)
- increasing the Partnership's profile as an employer of apprenticeships by representing the Partnership at career and educational events.
Reporting into the Apprenticeship Lead, the post holder will work collaboratively with peers and colleagues within the Learning and OD team to model a well-functioning and high performing team.
